Chinese New Year Road Trip

Posted by aLv|N (Melbourne, Australia) on 19 May 2008 in Landscape & Rural.

So, basically, every (well, pretty much every) chinese new year, we would go back to our home town. A little town called "Sibu". Yes. I was born there, but my sister and brother wasn't. Or was it just my brother? Anyway, yea. We'd go back there to see families, and long lost families, and I'd love to say friends, but sadly, i have no friends back there. This time back, it felt like nothing has changed. The road trip back was a long 6 hours drive. But there was little checkpoints which the whole family looks forward to such as a stall that my brother stops for deep fried chicken butt, a nice place for lunch, and a couple of lovely toilet stops here and there. I'll leave u guys here, if u wanna know more about my trip, stay turned!

P/S: Just a quick update, this is day 11 of my holiday... there's heaps more to come! Like... HEAPS!
